I am learning to use the correct structure and language
for recount writing.

On Saturday I came home on mum’s car

from where I used to live. 

I felt happy to see my nana. When I got out of the car,

I was at the boot with my nana

helping her pack her bag and with mum. 

Next, I went in the hotel to go to bed.

After that, in the morning, I went to McDonalds.

I had a great time.

Then I came home on mum’s car. 

Finally, I went to bed.

The Maori people were at NZ first.

Then the English people came.

When there was a lot of English people 

they started to fight.

The Maori chiefs talked to the King.

The King sent James Busby and 

William Hobson to help.

They had a meeting with the Maori chiefs.

They made some rules to stop the fighting.

They agreed with the rules.

They signed the rules.
