On the holidays

 

On the holidays On the holidays my family and I went to my friend's mother's gender reveal.

 First we drove to my dance class because that's where we were having the reveal. I was excited to go there. 

 Next we went inside and I felt shy because there were heaps of people there. So my friend offered me a kai, and I said, “yes”. 

 Then I saw my other friends. They were like, “hi Tarz”. I was so glad to see my friends and spend time with them all.

 After that we played ‘Pass the Parcel’. I felt terrific at the end of the game because I won a chocolate bar. 

 Later on I asked my friends if they wanted to stay at my house for the night and they said “yes”. So I went to ask their parents if they were allowed to come to my house for the night. They said,”Yes, they can”. My friends and I were delighted and we all had twinkling eyes. We were all very thrilled. Next I asked my mum if we could stay a little bit longer. She said, “Of course, because you have been a good girl. 

 Then we had a dance battle with Nicole. People were saying she's really good at dancing, so watch out. I said, “okay then”. We started the battle. She was very good. I was amazed at how good she was.

 Finally Nicole played 60 shots and I won the dance battle. Nicole said “your mums’ yelling out to you”. My friends and I went back to my house and relaxed with a best friend's smile. Our day ended happily ever after.

On Saturday Morning.

On Saturday Morning On Saturday morning me and Mrs Paraha went to see mine, Rawiri and Joeche’s awa Te Raparapa because we are learning about rivers. First Mrs Paraha came to pick me up from my house to take me to find our awa. Next after she picked me up, we went to pick Joeche up from Routley Street. When we got to Joeche’s driveway I saw him and his Mum walking down their own driveway. He jumped in the car and we drove off to Orakau Road. On the way when we were driving on Orakau Road we stopped and picked up Rawiri. He was standing with his Mum at the bottom of his driveway. Our uncle lived there. His name is Pouri. Then we made a video about Te Raparapa River. The video showed where the source of Raparapa was. It also showed where the mouth was. I enjoyed my trip because we learnt heaps about our own awa.

I used chalk and paint to create my favourite cat. Then I used coloured paper to weave  a mat for my cat.

 

My Mother's Day Gift.

I made some sweet delicious chocolate and coconut balls for my Mum for Mother's Day.

The water Cycle

The water cycle is how the water on earth moves around. 

The water goes around the planet over and over and over

The water cycle goes around and around. It is like a circle. The water cycle always has the same water even from when the dinosaurs lived on earth. In the water cycle, water changes from liquid to water vapor. It can also change to a solid like snow. Liquid is found in seas, creeks and rivers.

Why is the water cycle important for life on earth?

The water cycle is the most important thing for life on earth because it makes the water move around the earth. 

If the water cycle stopped no life would be alive and plants would not be alive. The water cycle gives us fresh water and keeps all living creatures alive. The water cycle moves the water around so it stays fresh so we can drink it. 

So that’s why the water cycle is important for our earth.

 On Saturday afternoon

On Saturday afternoon I went with my Dad to help him at his work in Taheke. Then we came home.

After I got off my van I went to go to my mums car. First when I got in my car I

grabbed Tate’s puffy ball and said puff puff

Tate was as happy as a clown with sweet nees of honey , he was as bright as the sun too. Next my mum said com down Tate when me and Tate got home we went in our Room and we played jump the pig so he jump onto my bed first . After that we played tag I was in he was in the cupid I new because he was laughed so lound even he woke up mum. Then dad got back so he hugged me and he though me and Tate up in the sky.

Yesterday Whaea Diane came to talk to our class about Maths. First Whaea Diane showed us a 120s board. We used it to count in tens. After that Whaea Diane

chose some people to choose a number up on the whiteboard. Next Whaea Diane took the 120s board off the white board. 

Then Whaea Diane pulled the iris out of its bag then Whaea Diane videoed us doing maths with our teacher and she videoed us behaving too.

Finally Whaea Diane said, “Tata room 5.” We said, “See you, Whaea Diane.”

I thought it was an amazing and wonderful day with Whaea Diane. I loved spending some time with Whaea Diane.

My learning Goals Term 1 2021

 Here are my learning goals for 2021. I will try hard to achieve my goals.

Maths - Sorting the houses

 

Being at Angel's house.

 Being at angels house

At Angel's house we went to the beach. 

First we stopped at the dairy to get some lollies.

We both got the same lollies. They were delicious

and yummy. When we got back from the beach we

gave the green lollies to CJ and Tirl got the red ones.

We found these girls so I asked them if I could play

with them. They said, "Yes you can." Next we got some sand and made a sand ball and we had a sand fight and our hair got sandy.  After that we went back to the bach to have a shower and washed our hair and got changed in clothes.

Then we grabbed a towel and lay down on the towel. We relaxed on the beach. Finally we went back up to the bach and put our towels back and went to sleep. I felt great.

Being Kind

WALT show kindness to others and to work as a team. Here is my poster to share my ideas about kindness. 

My Recount Writing

 On Saturday morning me and my family travelled to Ruakaka to camp.

We camped with my god dad and my god sister and my god brother.

First Tommy asked me, Traeh and my god sister if we wanted to play. We all said, “Yes we will play Tommy.”

I felt as happy as a clown.

We found a park by the toilets and it was by the kitchen. 

I thought that the kitchen smelt disgusting because the toilet was right next to it.

Next I had to get the teapots for our cup of tea. So after I got the teapots I went to sleep and I thought in my mind this was a great day.
